Alfonso II Prism Tabletop Mirror

Octagonal Prism in Scagliola is made entirely by hand according to the Carpigiana tradition. Worked with glue and natural pigments, the plaster is shaped to imitate the marble features. The mirror is set in a brass frame in accordance with the tones of the mixture. This table mirror is dedicated to Alfonso Bialetti creator of the famous Moka, the octagonal shape of the prism resumes the bakelite handle on the top of the coffee maker.
