Bifronte Nightstand with Drawer by Toyo Ito

Exquisitely designed by Toyo Ito and part of the Ripples Collection, this nightstand features a shelf made of five different types of wood (walnut, cherry, mahogany, ash, and oak), enclosed in an extra clear tempered glass frame, creating a “trompe l’oeil” effect of mid-air suspension. A capacious drawer on wheels made of MDF is at the bottom, boasting a white lacquered front and the opposite one in walnut veneer.
