Black & White Filigree Murrine Large Vase

A collection of vases and objects unique in conception and production. Master Matteo Tagliapietra began by producing the typical murrine using the filigree technique to, once made, compose the “plate” and then forge the vase or bowl. A process that in addition to great skill requires days of work between the production of the “semi-finished product” and the final object. A great demonstration of how Murano glass starting from its roots can still find innovative and original applications.
