Canopo Gallo Black & White Vase #1

This vase is directly inspired by Egyptian canopic jars; it is an ironic and contemporary reinterpretation of an ancestral object, a tutelary deity of domestic tranquility. A creature with a magical aura, endowed mostly with positive connotations, the rooster is an animal that brings light, cheerfulness, and the ferrying man out of the nightmares of the night. Handcrafted and glazed with oxides and crystallines, the work becomes a unique, precious, and sculptural object.
