Female Swimmer Vase

This delightful work of art doubles as a vase which can be used to store any liquid desired. The charming shape of the vase is made to recreate the look of a swimmer ready to take a plunge, her arms stretched above her head serving as the two handles of the piece. The colorful painting on the suit of the swimmer is achieved by hand-applied vibrant glazes. The swimmer also has her towel over her shoulder, a detail added by hand after the shape was crafted on a lathe.
