Futurist Pool Players Plate

This exquisite functional plate inspired by the Futurist movement doubles as a magnificent work of art. It was produced by Tullio Mazzotti, according to the same passion, materials and techniques used by the four generations of Mazzotti ceramisicts that preceded him, also taking inspiration from and collaborating with many leading futurist artists. The decoration on this plate depicting pool players in the futurist style was painted on by hand using a special orange peel enamel called MATT unique only to Mazzotti 1903.
