Giubilo Sculpture

Stylized anthropomorphic shapes define this sublime sculpture, minutely handcrafted of precious marine-origin stone rich in animal and plant fossils exclusively quarried near Lecce, Apulia. The two bodies seem as frozen in a moment of overwhelming joy – hence “giubilo”. The piece is numbered and signed by the artist.
