Gold Luxury Hinged Box

This one-of-a-kind box, from the Luxury collection, was made entirely by hand in iron and was intricately worked using delicate tools to create luxurious details. The top of this piece is connected by a gold plated bronze hinge. The ornate details covering the surface of the piece were carved at about 3 to 4 millimeter depths, and were then covered in gold leaf before being filled in with a transparent black resin. The remaining surface of the iron was also covered in gold leaf. The soft velvet lining of this piece also adds a fine touch.
