Green Rectangular Florentine Box

Decorative and functional, this box showcases traditional craftsmanship that will stand out in a classic decor. The rectangular box is fashioned of repurposed wood hand-painted in a white acrylic tempera, the marbled texture achieved with a sponging technique in the “encausto veneziano” style, found on Renaissance church fa√ßades. The lid boasts a green and white eight-pointed star in a red circle with green fleur de lis in the corners. The green beveled pedestal complements the lid’s green edge for a simple finishing touch. Beeswax coating adds a glossy and protective finish.
