This one-of-a-kind plate is a contemporary take on the traditional decorative theme of the “pavoncella” (peacock in English), found in old Sardinian chests. This expressive bird is rendered using the graffito technique by expert craftsmen who scratch the handmade terracotta piece adding enamels in vibrant colors.
