Little Red Riding Hood Tapestry

Each rug is a unique piece, hand-made in Sardinia using an ancient grain-weaving technique native to the island known as ‘a pibiones’, dialectal word for “grain”. The geometric shapes and colors spark the interest of the onlooker by enticing them to decipher the script: the rug tells the story of Little Red Riding Hood, each row showcasing an element of the story, from the grandmother’s house, to the hunter’s rifle. Braille characters conceal the name of the textile artwork.
