Honoring the tradition of Deruta ceramics, this elegant round plate will amplify the sophistication of a dining room as a singular table centerpiece. Fashioned of ceramic, this plate is hand decorated using a technique developed by Sambuco that recreates the texture of mosaics by engraving the surface with a steel tool into a multitude of tile shapes. The vibrant colors form a lively floral motif enriched with pure gold accent. This stunning object undergoes three firings in the kiln, the final firing setting the colors into the clay.
