This striking wool carpet was made by hand by artisans in Nepal who used cotton warp and weave in wool coming from Tibetan animals that, grazing at very high altitude, produce a very durable wool that is high in lanolin. The result is a one-of-a-kind piece signed by designer Nathalie Du Pasquier that boasts vivid colors and a modern decoration and that is also an exquisite example of impeccable craftsmanship. Handmade by craftsmen in Uma technique. Life’s Commodities 2003 Collection.
