Nirù Wooden Puppet

A stunning showcase of deft craftsmanship, the renowned Nirù puppet was created with the help of artisan Saverio Zaminga, Antonio Aricò’s grandfather. Fashioned of ebony wood, brass, and textiles, the piece depicts the mythical Grifone, a Moor of the Southern Italian tradition, here carrying an olive branch instead of a war weapon.
