Designed by Serena Confalonieri, this tall cabinet is part of the Pavarti Collection, named after deities Nanda, Uma, and Aparna in Indian mythology. The red-lacquered wooden frame features two hinged doors finished in vibrant fuchsia, supported by four cylindrical legs in polished brass. The matching brass handles recall the gold nose rings worn by Indian brides during the marriage ceremony, a recurrent decorative element with a strong symbolic value central to the collection.
