Pine Tree Family Tapestry

The design for the tapestry ‘Pine Tree Family’ was made by the artist on the basis of the pictures taken during her frequent walks around Florence. The pine tree, so characteristic for this area, are among the trees she most admires for the wonderful forms of their branches and tops. It’s a delicate tree that suffers from the recent climate changes and whose numbers are decreasing. This tapestry is hand-tufted and embroidered on canvas, with New Zealand wool and fine Italian yarns.
