Sasà Orange Vase

This stunning vase is a veritable work of art. Entirely crafted by hand in ceramic, it renders in naturalistic details the crowned visage of a Moor man in the Sicilian pottery tradition. The strong and expressive features of the man are accented with a crown and fruit framing his head. The age-old inspiration of this piece harmoniously mixes with the finish in a rich orange color, strikingly combined with a horizontal gold leaf stripe to highlight the man’s eyes. The vase cannot be filled with water.
