Set of 2 Specola Coat Racks

Hand-wrought and enameled copper coat rack. The coat racks are part of the larger collection Specola, named after the historic Padua astronomical observatory. They are made with the technique of fire enameling on copper, the complexity of which is due to the unpredictability of the action of fire on glass powders. The design is by Giorgia Zanellato and Daniele Bortotto, who relied on Incalmi’s many years of research in this field.
