Spring 2020 Diptych Painting

Part of a series of diptych paintings that belong to Federico Caruso’s Anatomia dell’Evanescenza Collection (Anatomy of Evanescence), this oeuvre is inspired by the sequence of immediate moments of being of a volatile eternity. Made in 2020 with the oil painting technique on a chalk-treated linen canvas, it depicts a male and a female figure, free from rigid anatomical meaning, rendered with fluid and dynamic brushstrokes.
