This original pen drawing on brown wrapping paper belongs to an artful fringe herbal conceived as a metaphor for the people living in public housing on the outskirts of Rome. “Sradicato” – the Italian for “uprooted” – flanks a bouquet of flowers and weeds, an homage to fallow and abandoned lands suggesting meaningful social parallels that define the 2022 “Corale Corviale” relationship-driven art project.
