Totem Onyx Coffee Table by Karen Chekerdjian

A free combination of geometric volumes defines the minimalist and transformative character of this coffee table crafted from prized white onyx. Its structural components – a cone, a cylinder, and a ring – are stacked on top of each other and can be interchanged to give birth to two different compositions, which let the table soar to an evocative, almost meditative dimension. Part of a numbered series, the design has its ceramic counterpart exhibited at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris.
