This superb glazed ceramic vase pays homage to the mythological figure of Tristan, valiant knight who fell for the beautiful Isolde. Enhanced by vivid enamels, the vase’s silhouette flaunts a sinuous profile obtained thanks to a patient work on the lathe that creates the voluminous hair and beard before raised decorations of anthropomorphic details are added to underline the expressiveness of the design.
