Ultimate Landscapes 1/1 Photograph

Made in 2008 by Claudio Orlandi as part of his Ultimate Landscapes 1 Collection, this photograph depicts the Presena glacier in Northern Italy, covered with white experimental cloths, ideally protecting the ice from melting. This bird’s eye view of the glacier is made by manually connecting each pixel, with the support of Photoshop to remove the sky from the photographs, enhancing their apocalyptic character.
