This stunning, one-off tapestry weft by hand by textile artist Marta Pederzoli is entirely fashioned of fibers from recycled PET bottles. Ennio Nonni designed this objet d’art to raise awareness on pollution and on how human actions impact nature. No humans are depicted, only a green foreground with multiple layers of urban skylines, silent symbols of confused, dystopian futurist cities. A giant, purple sun rises from behind, interrupting the azure of the sky.
